Student Achievements
Each spring since 2003, LSU has honored 12 outstanding seniors who contribute positively to the life of the campus, the surrounding community, and/or society. These 12 individuals are recognized as the Tiger Twelve. Meet the Class of 2025.
LSU student Gerard Lorio is passionate about his research and persistent in his pursuit of a medical career. Those efforts have culminated in his selection as a Goldwater Scholar, a prestigious honor reserved for only an elite few nationwide.
LSU student researcher and aspiring meteorologist Jonathan Russell is investigating possible shifts in tropical storm tornado-formation trends in hopes of developing new and improved forecasting solutions that could lead to life-saving alerts.

Eleven LSU Seniors to Graduate with Engaged Citizen Distinction
The Center for Community Engagement, Learning, and Leadership, or CCELL, in conjunction with LSU Campus Life, is pleased to announce its spring 2022 cohort of 11 seniors that will graduate from LSU next week with the Engaged Citizen distinction.

Ogden Honors, chemistry junior Cale Locicero named 2022 Goldwater Scholar
The scholarship program was designed to foster and encourage outstanding students to pursue research careers in the fields of the natural sciences, engineering, and mathematics.
