One thing you learned from your time living on campus

Expect the unexpected. Know that how you carry yourself could impact someone, so always try to be as positive as you can be 

The one thing I wish incoming first-year students knew 

Give it time. Rome wasn't built in a day. Make sure you get involved in groups and hang out with people, but most importantly don't get to down on yourself for missing home or being upset about the big adjustment. Just give it time.
