Jack Adamo
Residence Coordinator

I originally became a part of Residential Life at LSU as an RA to do good, meaningful
work. I was very lucky to have the opportunity to apply mid-year and join a staff
of wonderful people. Now, after serving as an RA from that point until my graduation,
I am very excited to return to the department in order to serve the LSU community
in a new role. Living and working on-campus has demonstrated to me importance of Residential
Life work and what it takes to ensure students living at LSU have a high quality,
safe, and productive experience. I am grateful to have had that experience myself
as a freshman here, and I want to use what I've learned to help facilitate that experience
for new students.
"LSU is an unbelievable source of opportunity" -Jack
Little did you know
While I was in college, I was a part of a team of friends who made and released independent video games. I was our primary artist, although all three of us needed to wear multiple hats to get things done. The experience was valuable not only as a bonding element between us, but also as a creative and logistical challenge, as we learned how to finish things - a tough part of any long-form freelance project.
One thing you learned while living on campus
I have learned that campus is more than where you go to class, it really is a microcosm of the real world. Campus has an enormous amount of opportunities for students looking for any kind of experience, and everyone ought to try to find a part of that world they can learn and grow from. LSU is an unbelievable source of opportunity for students of every interest. To find those opportunities, get involved, talk to people, get to know your professors, attend special lectures and guest speakers, and pay attention to what's happening around you.
