Faculty Quickstarts

Faculty Quickstarts are 1-hour monthly sessions held during the fall and spring semesters, designed to introduce faculty to key teaching resources and support services. While they’re especially helpful for new faculty adjusting to LSU, all faculty are welcome to attend. Each session focuses on a specific area of teaching support. These sessions offer a practical, no-frills way to stay informed and connected to campus tools that can enhance teaching and student success.

Overview:

Elements serves as LSU’s faculty information system for tracking each faculty member’s teaching, research, scholarly and creative works, and service activities. Join Director of Academic Personnel & Policy, Mallory Danzy, for an in-depth tutorial of Elements where she will share how to setup one's profile and discuss the upcoming 2025 annual review process.
