Internships
An internship is a hands-on experience in a professionally supervised environment where a savvy mass communication student puts classroom learning to practical use. Available in all areas of mass communication: digital advertising, journalism, political communication, public relations, digital, social media or a combination. Our students have interned at the U.S. Capitol, Smithsonian Museum of Art, The Washington Post, ESPN, Good Morning America, The U.S. Department of State, top advertising and public relations firms and literally hundreds of other businesses, government agencies and nonprofits across the nation.
Many of our students take internships for course credit. To learn more about how you can register for a for-course-credit internship, visit our Internship Experience page and fill out an application (NOTE: You need to be logged into myLSU and use your LSU.edu email address to create your application).
