CTP Research Initiatives

At the core of the Curriculum Theory Project (CTP) is a deep commitment to advancing research in curriculum theory that is interdisciplinary, socially engaged, and forward-looking. Since its founding, CTP has supported scholarship that explores educational problems and possibilities while promoting dialogue about ethical and democratic commitments—locally, nationally, and globally.

Graduate students at CTP are actively involved in diverse research initiatives, working alongside faculty and alumni who are leaders in educational thought. This work responds to contemporary challenges and is regularly presented at conferences, published in leading journals, and applied in real-world settings.

CTP research reaches beyond the university through partnerships with schools, museums, libraries, community agencies, correctional facilities, and more — fostering educational leadership and developing new curricular models that support justice-oriented learning and active citizenship.

As a graduate student, you’ll be part of a collaborative, intellectually rich community where research doesn’t just ask questions — it makes a difference.
